Allianz offers straight-forward and affordable life insurance options. The company’s life insurance policies feature up to $1.5 million life cover depending on your age, premiums up to 30% cheaper than average competitor prices, no medicals required to apply and a simple, online application process. Allianz offers three main types of insurance cover: Life cover, Critical Illness cover and Permanently Unable to Work cover. Here’s a look at these three covers.

Life Cover

Also known as Term Life Insurance or death cover, Life cover pays a lump sum if the insured dies or suffers a terminal illness where death is likely to occur within 12 months. This cover is important for people in all life stages, whether they are young and single or married and retired.

The minimum cover offered under the Allianz Life Plan is $100,000. The maximum cover is based on age. Those ages 16-45 can receive up to $1.5 million in cover, ages 46-55 can receive up to $1 million and those ages 56-65 can receive a maximum cover of $500,000.

Critical Illness Cover

Critical Illness cover, also known as Trauma cover, pays a lump sum benefit if the insured suffers one of the defined critical illness events, such as cancer, stroke or heart conditions. Critical illness benefits are paid regardless of the insured’s ability to work and can be used for any purpose the policy owner chooses.

The minimum Critical Illness cover that can be applied for is $50,000, while the maximum is $500,000. This cover is available for persons age 16 to 55. There are several medical conditions covered under the Allianz Critical Illness cover, though some conditions may apply in certain cases.

Permanently Unable to Work Cover

This cover is also known as Total and Permanent Disability and it pays a lump sum if the life insured suffers a sickness or injury which means they will never be able to work again. In the event of long-term disability, the insured can choose how to use any benefit payment.

Minimum cover offered for this insurance is $100,000 with the maximum being $1.5 million. Anyone ages 16 to 55 may apply for Permanently Unable to Work cover.
